Over the past decade beauty advent calendars and boxes have become a pretty big deal I would say! So today I thought I would simplify it a little and run through two amazing offerings from Very that I have personally selected that are a perfect way to treat yourself in the lead up to Christmas.
Now I don't want to toot my own festive horn and tell you I'm quite the expert in this field but lets just say I'm a self-confessed advent calendar and beauty box addict! Not only do a love a beauty box subscription but I especially love one-off beauty boxes come the festive period. There is just something about delving into a box of beauty delights throughout December, not only to ward off the winter blues but to try out gorgeous new products in the lead-up to the festive season. As for advent calendars I'm both a traditional chocolate-for-breakfast kind of girly as well as treating myself to a beauty offering or two... and this year Very truly have something to suit every taste and budget. A beauty advent calendar is without a doubt a way to make the countdown to Christmas even more exiting, plus you get to discover a plethora of new products that are ideal to not only add to your existing makeup routine but the mini size products are ideal for popping into your bag for a festive night out or a sparkling breakaway - something I will be doing as I have an exiting trip to Edinburgh booked for December 1st! My beauty advent calendar of choice this year is the gorgeous Benefit Hotel Beneville Advent Calendar that I can't wait to show you around!
First up, possibly the star of the show; Benefit's Hotel Beneville Advent Calendar that simply screams festive fun to me. This 24-door advent calendar includes full-size products, travel minis and a few festive extras all housed in a fun suitcase design.
My love for Benefit started over 20 years ago now with their iconic Benetint, which may just be included, so this gorgeous festive offering was a no-brainer for me especially as I haven't tried a lot of their latest launches which are excitingly included.
While I don't want to give too many spoilers I have to say I'm very impressed with the range of products you receive inside - from eye makeup to their iconic boxed powder based products and even a selection of their skincare in mini form.
My top three products, if I was forced to pick, would be the iconic mini Hoola bronzer as it's a cool-toned product that simply suits everyone and I'm very glad to see it back in my own makeup routine. I would also have to say Benefit Bad Gal Bang Mascara as this is impressively a full-size product worth £28 and the amount of volume and length this mascara gives is something else! Lastly, the pretty generous travel-size The Porefessional Get Unblocked Cleansing Oil which is a totally new product to me that I'm already loving.

This box comes priced at £70 but with contents worth over £360 and includes 20 products that range from haircare to skincare, fragrance, makeup, beauty tools and there's even a festive nail polish - this box truly covers all bases.

As for my top 3 picks from The Very Festive Beauty Box, which feels impossible as I love pretty much everything inside, I already have some solid favourites. First up, Caudalie Premier Cru The Eye Cream which comes in a mini 15ml, this little eye cream reminded me how much I love Caudalie products. In fact while I'm still working my way through this mini I love the formula and results that much I've just ordered myself the full-size eye cream.
Another favourite from the luxury mini products inside this box is Micheal Kors Pour Femme Absolu as I have been wanting a travel size scent for the upcoming festive season and this will be it. However the Very team know a girl needs options and have spoilt us with a fragrance gift set from Moncler as well!
Finally, I couldn't not mentioned how exited I was to see the Sensse LED Skinlift device included within the box. Worth £35 and with 7 different modes from anti-aging to breakout reduction this is a tool that can fit into any skincare routine seamlessly. I will personally be using this on my neck and jawline to improve firmness and hope to see visible results by the time party season is upon us.
